Gwynedd’s Community Strategy (Gwynedd Together)
Gwynedd Together is the name given to the Community Strategy in Gwynedd and its aim is to ensure a better standard of life for the inhabitants of Gwynedd now and to the future. The Gwynedd Together Board consists of people who are responsible for key decisions within Partnerships and agencies in Gwynedd. The chief officers of the agencies have agreed to work in new ways and to a new timetable to ensure a better service for the people of the county. The new strategy is beginning to take shape following a process to recognise the factors that offer opportunities and barriers to Gwynedd’s improvement over the next 10-15 years. To fulfil our potential we have recognised seven strategic fields: Economy and Skills, Innovative Services, Climate Change, Housing, Environmental Assets, Demographic changes, Community, Language and Culture. The leaders of these 7 priorities are developing work plans with specific objectives to be achieved over the next 3, 5 and10 years. Gwynedd Together …. a new way of working….
